On the 5th of September 2009 Art Vision presented the 5th dance festival called SANGAM, A CONFLUENCE OF DANCE. The festival has been conceived as an offering of new and exclusive choreographic compositions in two different dance styles. This year Art vision premiered two new works: Partha Sarathi, the immortal sermon delivered by Sri Krishna in the battle field and Jalai Rakha, based on a modern poem by Devdas Chhotrai.
The guest troupe was the Natyanova Performing Art Centre from Kolkata, directed by Pryiadarshini Ghosh who presented Usha Sukta, the hymn to Dawn as found in the Rig Veda, in Mohini Attam style.
