Art Vision organised the "2nd SANGAM, A CONFLUENCE OF DANCE" at Rabindra Mandap on the 5th of September 2006.The productions in Odissi style presented by Art vision performing unit were: "Exploration", a joyful dance played by two dancers exploring the space around them and "Maya Darpan" based on the concept of "maya" or illusion as founded in the Upanishad.
The guest troupe was the Lasya Dance Centre, from Mumbai, directed by Rajashree Shirke who presented "Arambha", an invocation to Lord Ganesh, "Krishna Kreeda", celebrating the play of Radha and Krishna in the Spring season and "Jaya Ramaa", in Marathi language depicting different stories of Lord Rama, in Bharat Natyam style.
